Center for the History of Physics
From the American Institute of Physics, this site's mission is to "preserve and make
known the history of modern physics and allied fields including astronomy, geophysics,
optics, and the like."
Fear of Physics
This site's slogan is: "Physics. Explained. Finally." This very visual site explains
the concepts of physics and how physics play an essentail role in everyday life. The
site also includes a dictionary and a section on homework help. Designed for students
so information is easy to read and not overly technical.
The Laws List
This site is an alphabetical listing of the "laws, rules, principles, effects, paradoxes,
limits, constants, experiments, & thought-experiments in physics."
Physics Central
Created by the American Physical Society, this page's purpose is to "communicate the
excitement and importance of physics to everyone." Geared towards a general audience,
this site provides physics news and also answers questions on on things work and how
physics is a part of your daily life.
Physics Links
This page, from BCC's physics department, lists physics, astronomy and astro-physics
websites as well as information on BCC physics classes and transfer programs to other
colleges and universities.
Resources in Physics
From the Physics-Mathematics-Astronomy Division of the Special Libraries Association, this
site provides useful links on physics conferences, professional societies, news, internet
resources and references.
