"ARRT is the world’s largest credentialing organization that promotes high standards
of patient care in radiologic technology." Students in the BCC Radiation Therapy program
are eligible to take the ARRT certification exam at the completion of the program.

Radiotherapy Fact Sheet
This Fact Sheet from the National Cancer Institute "defines the different types of
radiation therapy and discusses scientific advances that improve the effectiveness
of this treatment." Radiation therapy is well defined and links to other related definitions
to help patients understand the entire picture.
Radiation Research Program
A division of the National Cancer Institute, the Radiation Research Program "priorities,
allocates resources, and evaluates the effectiveness of such radiation research being
conducted by NCI grantees." Learn about current and cutting-edge research being done in
the field of radiation therapy.
