Language Lab Audio Duplication
Students who are enrolled in a language class may have language audio cassettes or audio-cds recorded for little or no cost:
  • Students in credit classes pay a lab fee of $5.00 (per quarter) at the time of registration.
  • Continuing Education students will be charged $1.00 per cassette/cd at the time of ordering.
Audio duplication requests are completed within a 24 hour period if the order consists of no more than 4 items. (Larger orders will take 48 hours or more). For more detailed cassette/cd requirement information, please review the Language Lab Handouts in the Media Center or Bookstore.

Laminating
Paper, posters, and card stock can be laminated for the cost of .50 per foot. All materials must be no more than 25 inches wide, no limit on length. This service is available to all students, staff and faculty.
Most projects are completed within 24 hours.

Off-Air Recording
Faculty or staff may request to have television programming recorded for the purpose of using the material in their classroom. The Media Center will not record programs in anticipation of a teacher's request. The use of any recorded material must comply with the following rules under the Guidelines for Fair Use.

Slide Reproduction or Images Scanned into Jpeg Files
Staff or faculty may have slides produced or images scanned into Jpegs, from print materials if the bulk of the material requested does not exceed more than 20% of the original material. This service is limited to academic use only and may be charged to a division budget or paid for by the instructor making the request. Please call (425) 564-2249 to inquire about cost.

Video Editing (A-B roll only)
A VHS is located with a VHS/DVD player in The Media Center and is available to all BCC enrolled students and faculty to prepare academic-related materials for class. First priority is given to students not enrolled in media communications programs. Media Center staff will provide basic training and general assistance. However this facility is primarily "self-paced". Cost: $15.00 per quarter OR $2.00 per hour.
